Club Lounges & Alliances

International Lounge Access

Through airline partners, Virgin Australia is pleased to offer pre-departure lounge access in conjunction with international services to Business Class, Velocity Platinum and Velocity Gold members.

Virgin Australia lounge members receive complimentary entry into Air New Zealand's Lounge, when traveling on flights between Australia and New Zealand or within New Zealand. Virgin Australia lounge members are not eligible for pre-departure lounge access on International Long Haul services.

A same-day travel boarding pass and Velocity or Virgin Australia lounge membership card is required to access lounges operated by their airline partners.

Eligibility for lounge access varies according to class of travel, Velocity membership status and travel destination. In addition, where lounges are operated by partner airlines or third party operators, (e.g. Star Alliance Lounge, Los Angeles) lounge access may be subject to capacity limitations imposed by the operator.

Please be advised that lounge access may be age restricted to comply with local liquor licensing laws.

Domestic Australia Lounges

Virgin Australia has raised the bar. Whether it’s relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of a long day, enjoying live music that lifts your mood or simply waking up with a freshly made barista coffee, Virgin’s lounges aim to make flying a pleasure.

Our architecturally designed lounges are the perfect environment to catch up on work, socialize or relax in comfort. Full business services are available including complimentary Wi-Fi access, meeting rooms and access to a suite of news publications so you can continue your day undisturbed.

Exclusive installations are also a common sight in the lounge, ranging from a complimentary shoe shine right through to unique music features. These are just some of the many touches that make Virgin Australia Lounges more than just a lounge.
