Overview

Founded over 15 years ago, Air Tahiti Nui is Tahiti’s first international airport, giving vacation makers around the world access to the picturesque island. The airline reaches eight cities across the US, Australia, Japan, France and New Zealand. 

When flying with Air Tahiti Nui, you can choose from Economy or Business Class as well as opt to join the Club Tiare rewards program where members can earn points with Air Tahiti Nui.  Points accumulated can be used towards flights, extra baggage, upgrades, and other benefits. AAdvantage and Delta Frequent Flyer members can also spend points on Air Tahiti Nui flights, but do not accrue any points while flying with Air Tahiti Nui.

Check-in

Recommended check-In time for Air Tahiti Nui is 3 hours prior to departure and 3 1/2 hours during Vacation seasons. Check-in counters open 3 1/2 hours prior to departure and close one hour prior to departure.

Comfort

Begin your Tahitian vacation in comfort and style onboard Air Tahiti Nui’s Business Class where you can recline to a full 160 degrees to a pitch of 60 inches and enjoy how the seat’s design optimizes privacy.

Dining

Enjoy a taste of French Polynesia with the airline’s locally inspired and 5-star restaurant quality meals, all individually served to your liking. If you have any dietary requirements, custom meals can also be served if requested before the flight.

Entertainment

Air Tahiti Nui offers personal video systems allowing you to choose from a range of movies, music and gaming options via your personal 12-inch high definition touch screen. If you’ve brought your own entertainment on board, keep those devices fully charged in the outlet or USB port in the center console.

Baggage

Prior to take off, our business class passengers have access to a priority check-in lane at our counters, access to a VIP lounge (LAX when available) and priority handling of baggage for quick delivery. Air Tahiti Nui allows Business passengers to bring 1 piece of 22 lb hand luggage, 2 pieces of 70 lb checked baggage for all destinations. 

 

Moana Economy Class

Comfort

Entering Moana Economy Class the first thing to notice is the color palette, one inspired by the natural beauty of Tahiti. Pillows that pop with the vivid hues and patterns of the island’s flowers and vegetation, resting on variations of blue taken from lagoon, ocean and cloudless sky.

Dining

A variety of meals are served in-flight, balancing both the Polynesian and French culinary influences with specialties for each of our destinations. For the wine lover with a sophisticated palate, an array of wine selections is available, particularly from the French and New World. If you have any dietary requirements, custom meals can also be served if requested before the flight.

Entertainment

Air Tahiti Nui offers personal video systems allowing you to choose from a range of movies, music and gaming options via your personal 9 inch high definition screen. For your personal electronics, each seat also has a USB power port. For kids whose screen time is up, an amenity kit with games is available.

Air Tahiti Nui allows Economy Class passengers to bring 1 piece of 22 lb hand luggage, and 1 piece of 70 lb checked baggage for all destinations. 

 

Club Lounges & Alliances

Air Tahiti Nui offers Business Class travelers access to full service lounges. Invitation cards and specific directions to the lounge will be provided to customers upon check in. Lounge locations are subject to change at each airport and LAX airport lounge is subject to availability.

Pampeete, Tahiti

International Lounge located one floor above the departure gates. 

Los Angeles

Shared airport lounge available for most flights. Location provided at check-in. For flights the lounge is not available, Business Class passengers will receive a meal voucher.

Paris

At Charles de Gaulle Paris airport, customers are invited to utilize the Cathay Pacific Lounge.

Auckland

Business Class customers are invited to utilize the Qantas Business Class Lounge, which is situated airside, just past the customs and security checkpoint. An invitation is provided at check-in. Business Class customers traveling on codeshare flight TN2102 will be provided an invitation to the Air New Zealand lounge upon check-in.

Sydney

Business Class customers are invited to utilize the Qantas Business Class Lounge, which is situated airside. An invitation is provided at check-in.

Tokyo

At Tokyo Narita Airport customers are invited to utilize the Qantas Business Class Lounge.
