1. Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa, Recently Opened

Hilton recently announced the official opening of Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa. The opening marks the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Jordan. Andreas Lackner, regional head, full service brand management, Hilton said, "The Dead Sea is one of the most unique places in the world and has evolved into a major hub of both religious and health and wellness tourism in the region. As the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the country of Jordan, this project marks an exciting addition to the Hilton portfolio as we continue to deliver distinct hospitality experiences to travelers from around the globe."

2. Ritz Carlton, Langkawi, Summer 2017

Originally planned to open in mid-2016 this luxury resort has kept anticipation strong but now promises to accept guests from July. The beachfront property immerses its architecture with its surroundings and was designed to reflect a traditional Malaysian village. The hotel features 3 swimming pools, a fine-dining French restaurant and a Ritz kids club.  A private cove and beach offer direct access to the island’s famed diving sites.
